About the Job:

As Director of Farming, you will work with The Farms Manager to ensure that all management and production plans are being implemented in an effective and profitable manner

This role will have complete budgetary and management oversight for our Farming Operations. The position will be based in Glenarm and will report to the Managing Director. The Director of Farming will be responsible for all farming activities ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our farms aligned to all regulatory and organic certification requirements. This person will also be responsible for exemplar health & safety practices and will create a highly motivated and passionate team.

Ideal Candidate:

We are seeking an exceptional aquaculture professional with proven strong leadership and people development skills, as well as technical experience. As a minimum, applicants should be educated in a biological discipline to post-graduate level or have an exceptional career history in aquaculture companies (preferable salmonids). We invite candidates with several years farming experience to apply. The Director of Farming will share Glenarm Organic Salmon’s passion for producing some of the finest organic salmon in the world.
